4. STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION

Step 1: Sear the Chicken

Season the chicken generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook for 5–6 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside (it doesn’t need to be fully cooked yet).

Step 2: Aromatic Base

In the same pan (keep those tasty brown bits!), add the minced garlic. Sauté for just 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes.

Step 3: Build the Sauce

Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any crispy bits from the bottom with a wooden spoon. Lower the heat to medium. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Let it simmer for 2 minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
